Tesla service centers in China have recently launched physical car keys for Model 3 that sell for 1,200 yuan, sparking a round of controversy among car owners.

On Sunday evening, a Weibo user posted a video of Tesla Model S being surrounded by smoke and caused widespread concern.

The upcoming Tesla system upgrade will not only have enhanced entertainment functions, but also Smart Summon, adjacent lane speed, voice-controlled seat heating and other functions, according to a Weibo user.

Tesla said today that it will provide more video and gaming content to Chinese customers next year, and will provide online games on its vehicles for the first time.

Tesla said on Thursday that the 300th supercharging station in China was completed.

Tesla is considering reducing the price of its China-made Model 3 sedan by 20% or more next year, Bloomberg reported Wednesday quoting people familiar with the matter.

Tesla plans to raise Model 3 imported Model 3 prices in China starting in January, according to Reuters.

The Tesla Model 3 produced in China was included in a recommended list by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on December 6.
