- The 8X, Zeekr's second hybrid model, starts at a price significantly lower than its previous pre-sales price.
- The hybrid SUV features a pure electric range of up to 410 km and a maximum combined range of 1,416 km.

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) brand under Geely Auto, has officially launched the Zeekr 8X, its second hybrid sport utility vehicle (SUV), to further explore the high-end market.
The Zeekr 8X hit the market on Friday, with a limited-time starting price set at 329,800 yuan ($48,370) to attract more potential buyers.
This highly competitive official launch price is 47,000 yuan, or 12.47%, lower than the pre-sales starting price of 376,800 yuan set by the company last month.
Its suggested retail price ranges from 356,800 yuan to 500,800 yuan.
The Zeekr 8X is a mid to large-size plug-in hybrid SUV offering five- and six-seat options, designed to meet the commuting needs of family consumers.
The vehicle measures 5,100 millimeters in length, 1,998 mm in width, and 1,780 mm in height, with a wheelbase reaching 3,069 mm.
The new SUV model is built on Geely's SEA-S architecture and adopts an advanced 900-volt high-voltage system.
It is equipped with a 55- or 70-kilowatt-hour ternary lithium battery pack, giving the vehicle a maximum pure electric range of 410 km under CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) conditions.
When fully fueled and charged, the Zeekr 8X can achieve a combined range of 1,416 km.
Supported by the 900-volt ultra-fast charging technology, the vehicle supports a charging rate of up to 6C at room temperature, taking only nine minutes to rapidly charge the battery from 20% to 80%.
The Zeekr 8X is powered by a 2.0T engine dedicated to hybrid models with a maximum output of 205 kilowatts.
Its dual-motor version has a combined output of 660 kW, enabling the model to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.7 seconds.
The top-trim Yaoying edition features a three-motor megawatt electric drive system — a first in the hybrid sector — delivering a peak output of up to 1,030 kW (1,400 Ps).
Backed by the powerful powertrain, the three-motor version takes a mere 2.96 seconds to sprint from zero to 100 km/h.
The Zeekr 8X is also the first to feature the new-generation G-ASD (Geely Afari Smart Driving) advanced driver assistance system.
The standard version is equipped with a single Nvidia Drive Thor-U chip paired with a long-range LiDAR. Meanwhile, the Yaoying edition carries two of these Thor-U chips and integrates 43 sensors, including five LiDARs, to achieve omni-directional environmental perception.
Following the larger Zeekr 9X hybrid SUV launched in September 2025, the Zeekr 8X is another crucial premium product rolled out by Zeekr, which is expected to further drive the brand's sales growth.
Thanks to the Zeekr 9X achieving over 10,000 deliveries in a single month last December, the Zeekr brand's monthly deliveries surpassed the 30,000-unit mark for the first time.
In March, Zeekr's deliveries reached 29,318 units, representing a massive 90% year-on-year surge and a 23% month-on-month increase.
Geely Auto Group CEO Jerry Gan said today that Zeekr is accelerating the development of the global versions of the Zeekr 9X and 8X, with plans to launch them in overseas markets as early as the third quarter.
