BYD sold 4,026 new energy passenger vehicles in July in overseas markets, the first time it has provided this breakdown in its monthly sales report.

BYD ranked No. 436 with $32.8 billion in revenue in 2021, marking its first entry on the list.

The model, known as the Yuan Plus in China, is BYD's first model built for the global market.

BYD has appointed Shlomo Motors as its national dealer in Israel, with the first two showrooms set to open in September.

In October, a number of pioneering stores in Sweden and Germany will be opened, with the first vehicles expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter.

BYD will purchase up to eight LNG dual-fuel PCTCs capable of transporting 7,700 vehicles each, which are expected to be delivered from 2025 onwards, according to the latest media reports.

This is an expansion of BYD's April 29 recall plan, when the company announced a recall of 9,663 Tang DM vehicles.

BYD Seal is expected to be the most important model in BYD's history, with steady-state monthly sales expected to exceed 30,000 units, analysts previously said.

BYD is building an SUV called BYD Sealion, which could compete with Tesla's Model Y and is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year, according to local media.

BYD's new energy passenger car offerings are expected to go on sale and be delivered in Europe in the fourth quarter, the company said, without revealing exactly which models.
