The Li L7 is essentially a five-seat version of the Li L8 and deliveries will begin in February 2023.

Since its launch, the Li L8 has received positive feedback and widespread recognition from consumers, and the number of orders continues to grow, Li Auto said.

The Li L8 has pretty much done what the Li L9 did at a slightly lower price point.

Li Auto delivered 10,052 vehicles in October, down 13 percent from September and up 31.42 percent from the same month last year.

The outgoing Wang Yilun is mainly responsible for AI algorithm development work including smart driving perception and mapping at Li Auto, according to local media.

Li Auto delivered 26,524 units in the third quarter, above the recently lowered guidance of about 25,500 units.

Deliveries of the Li L8 will begin in November, and the Li L7 will be officially unveiled in November and deliveries will begin in February 2023.

Li Auto says the Li L9 will continue to set new production and sales records among flagship full-size SUVs as production capacity continues to ramp up and deliveries are in full swing.

Li Auto expects to deliver about 25,500 vehicles in the third quarter, meaning September deliveries will be around 10,507 vehicles.

The Li L7 Pro will feature a dual-motor, four-wheel drive system with 330 kW of peak power that can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
