BYD currently has an 87 percent market share of NEVs in Mongolia and a 58 percent market share of pure electric vehicles in it.

BYD arrived in Europe with three all-electric passenger cars -- the Atto 3, Tang and Han -- and presented them at the Paris Motor Show.

The Atto 3, BYD's first global passenger car to target overseas markets, has already introduced to countries including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Cambodia and Costa Rica, as well as Europe.

The partnership began with SIXT's initial order for thousands of BYD's all-electric vehicles, with first deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2022.

BYD has announced the pre-sale prices for the Atto 3, Han, and Tang in Europe, where they will be delivered starting this year in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.

BYD has entered into a partnership with Jordanian car dealership group Bustami & Saheb Trading Company in order to offer NEVs to local consumers.

BYD is expected to launch models in Europe including the Tang, Han, and the Yuan Plus, which will be locally named the Atto 3.

BYD's plant is expected to start operations in 2024 and the vehicles will be exported to ASEAN countries and Europe.

Thailand's Board of Investment approved a set of investment commitments in August, including BYD's 17.9 billion baht ($491 million) electric vehicle production project.

Several offline BYD dealership stores in Europe will open in the fall, and the first vehicles are expected to be delivered starting in the fourth quarter, BYD said.
