Tesla extended delivery dates for some of its models in China last week, and the recent spike in nickel prices has put all EV makers at risk of increased costs.

This includes 33,315 vehicles exported and 23,200 vehicles delivered by Tesla in China in February.

That's enough to charge over 32,000 Tesla Model 3s from 0 to 100 percent.

Consumers who order the Model 3 will now have to wait until at least the end of June to get their deliveries. 

Some villagers use the Model Y as a mobile vending cart, others use it as a camping facility to host tourists.

Tesla will again offer a limited number of TeslaMic in China starting at 8 pm Beijing time on March 1, saying its capacity has failed to meet expectations due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Tesla's expansion plans for its existing plant in Shanghai aim to take capacity to about 1 million vehicles this year, Reuters reported.

Tesla sold 59,845 China-made vehicles in January, of which 40,499 were exported.

A Chinese user shared information that he received an email from Tesla stating that his Model S Plaid reservation order received an update.

The vast majority of Tesla Model Y vehicles for sale on multiple online used car trading platforms in China are priced above RMB 300,000 ($47,000).
