HT Aero will officially introduce the flying car at a future launch event in Europe. It previously said it plans to test-fly the X2 in Europe in the first half of 2022.

The move marks Xpeng's long-term commitment to accelerating the electrification of Europe and adhering to a sustainable strategy, it said.

Consumers in Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden can now begin pre-ordering the P5 sedan, with customers in the Netherlands being able to test drive the model starting in April.

Xpeng has reached retail partnership agreements in the Netherlands and Sweden and will open its first self-operated experience store in Sweden this week, the company's first in the international market.
