CPCA Ranking

The models ahead of the ET5 are all from German luxury automakers Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi.

This article contains 20 tables compiled by CnEVPost based on data from the CPCA, showing which models and car companies sold the most in China in February.

BYD Song was the best-selling SUV in China in February with 51,592 retail sales, and the Model Y ranked No. 2 with 25,526 units.

Nio ET5 ranks No. 7 with 6,471 retail sales in February, surpassed by Audi A4L with 6,935 sales.

Tesla Model Y retail sales in China were 14,184 units in January, while Model 3 sales were 12,659 units.

The Nio ET5 sold 5,795 units at retail in January, while the ET7 retailed 521 units in January and failed to make the list.

Here is the CPCA's ranking of the top performers and models for December and the full year 2022.

The Tesla Model Y sold 315,314 units in 2022, which is 2.11 times that of the second-place Mercedes-Benz GLC.

All models on the list except the ET5 and ET7 are traditional fuel models, with the BMW 3 Series coming in at No. 1 with 18,533 units.
