BYD ranks No. 1, Tesla No. 2, and Nio No. 9 in terms of NEV market share in China in 2023.

BYD sold 263,066 retail units in China in November, and Tesla 65,504.

In the January-October period, BYD was No. 1 with a 36 percent share, Tesla was No. 2 with 7.8 percent and Nio was No. 9 with 2.1 percent.

In the January-September period, BYD took first place with a 36.3 percent share, Tesla was second with 8.4 percent and Nio was ninth with 2.1 percent.

In the January-August period, BYD ranked first in China's NEV market with a 36.6 percent share, while Tesla came in second with 8.8 percent.

BYD was No. 1 in China's NEV market in January-July with a 37.2 percent share, while Tesla was No. 2 with an 8.7 percent share.

Nio sold 54,561 units in the January-June period, placing it in 10th place with a 1.8 percent share in the first half of the year.

From January to April, the Model Y sold 121,407 units, making it the second-best-selling new energy SUV in China during this period.
