Nio opened up 11.61 percent to HK$148, recovering losses from the past two days. The company's US-traded shares rose 16.7 percent to $18.66 overnight.

"Looking ahead, we can envision the stock outperforming in the 2H of the year at the very least on a relative basis," Deutsche Bank analyst Edison Yu's team said.

The two indices, which will be officially launched on July 6, are expected to provide exposure to Chinese investors bullish on the smart electric vehicle sector.

Nio did not directly mention the name of the model, but apparently, it is the ES7, the company's first SUV based on the NT 2.0 platform.

Nio's video makes the ES7 look more appealing than the look that was previously revealed in regulatory filings.

The issue was caused by the failure of the ET7's low-voltage battery charging module and is being investigated by Nio.

Nio has confirmed that it will hold an online product launch on June 15, which will be the company's first online launch of new products.

The first phase of the park is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2023 and will have an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of aluminum die-casting.

The Nio ET7 ranked ninth in China's top premium sedan sales in May, moving up one spot from its first full delivery month in April.

As of June 10, Nio had 964 battery swap stations in China, 247 of which are located along highways.
