Nio Inc is gearing up for the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, bringing its three brands — Nio, Onvo, and Firefly — together at the same booth for the first time.
The Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker will hold a media briefing from 10:00 am to 10:40 am Beijing time on April 24. The event will be live-streamed on the Nio App and its social media platforms, according to a statement on Thursday.
This marks the first time Nio Inc has placed its three brands at the same booth at a major auto show, where it will display 11 models and 12 full-stack technologies.
The company's management will detail the latest developments and strategic layout of the three brands.
This year's Beijing Auto Show has reached a record scale, with a total exhibition area hitting an unprecedented 380,000 square meters.
Nio's booth is located at E203 in Hall E2 of the China International Exhibition Center Shunyi New Venue (CIEC). Local peer Xpeng and the Huawei-backed Aito brand are also located in the same hall.
The highlight for the main Nio brand is the public debut of the all-new flagship SUV Nio ES9, which is equipped with 43 industry-first technologies, Nio said.
The brand will also launch a special edition of the third-generation ES8 with a Mystic Black exterior, while the previously launched ES8 with a Nebula Red exterior will also be shown to the public.
Earlier today, the 100,000th third-generation ES8 was delivered to its owner in Beijing, marking a milestone for the large electric SUV.
The family-oriented Onvo brand will showcase models including the 2026 Onvo L90.
The updated Onvo L90, launched on April 21, is powered by Nio's in-house developed Shenji NX9031, the world's first 5-nanometer automotive-grade autonomous driving chip, and is equipped with the Nio World Model driver assistance system.
The personalization-focused Firefly brand will display an upgraded version of its currently only model. The 2026 Firefly EV, launched on April 7, features upgraded specifications at the same price, including a peak motor power increased to 120 kilowatts.
Firefly will also showcase three official modified vehicles with different styles, aiming to attract the attention of more young consumers.
Nio will launch the 2026 Formula Student China series at the event. It has co-initiated and supported the event for 12 consecutive years.
The company will also showcase its latest environmental protection projects in nature conservation through a themed exhibition.
