- Onvo held a delivery ceremony for the first owners at Nio's Hefei F1 factory, with deliveries starting simultaneously in 15 other cities.
- Over 1,000 L80 display and test-drive vehicles have arrived at Onvo showrooms across China.

Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO) sub-brand Onvo officially began deliveries of the L80 in China today, following the formal launch of the large five-seater electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) yesterday.
This continues the company's fast-paced product roll-out strategy to capitalize on the momentum built during the initial launch phase.
Onvo held a delivery ceremony for the first users at Nio's F1 factory located in Hefei, Anhui province. Meanwhile, 15 cities including Beijing, Hangzhou, and Chengdu also kicked off L80 deliveries simultaneously today.
More than 1,000 L80 display and test-drive vehicles have arrived at Onvo showrooms in China, the brand said.
The large five-seater SUV starts at 242,800 yuan ($35,650) including the battery pack, down slightly by 1.22% from its previous pre-sales price.
If consumers choose the BaaS (battery as a service) battery rental service, the starting price will drop to 156,800 yuan, but they will need to pay a monthly battery rental fee.
The Onvo L80 shares its platform and dimensions with the brand's three-row SUV, the L90. It is positioned as the five-seater SUV with the largest loading space in the Chinese market, aiming to attract more family users who value space and value for money.
The new car offers three trim levels to meet the needs of buyers with different budgets. The base Pro version is equipped with Nvidia's Orin X smart driving chip, while the higher-trim Max+ and Ultra+ versions feature LiDAR and Nio's in-house developed 5-nanometer Shenji NX9031 chip.
The higher-trim models are also equipped with the Nio World Model assisted driving system to enhance the driving experience and provide better smart driving technology.
Power replenishment infrastructure is another core feature for Onvo to attract users. L80 owners can share Nio's vast nationwide battery swap network, thereby alleviating range anxiety during long-distance travel.
As of May 15, Nio has built 3,847 battery swap stations in China, of which 2,496 are accessible to Onvo models. The brand plans to increase the number of its available battery swap stations to over 3,300 by the end of this year.
Onvo is boosting its sales through intensive product launches. Last month, the updated L90 hit the market. The updated L60 five-seater SUV will begin pre-sales at the Shenzhen auto show later this month.
