Xpeng reported a net loss of RMB 1.33 billion ($180 million) in the fourth quarter, lower than analysts' expectations of RMB 1.593 billion, but gross margins slipped slightly from the third quarter.

Xpeng has started pre-sales of its G6 SUV and X9 MPV in Indonesia and plans to start local production in the country in the second half of 2025.

Starting price of 2025 G6 is reduced by 11.56 percent and 2025 G9 by 5.72 percent.

The updated G6 is a model developed for the global market and would be available in left- and right-hand drive versions. The G9 is Xpeng's flagship SUV.

Xpeng began warming up for the 2025 G9 SUV, as it started previewing the G7 in January and the updated G6 is set to hit the market next week.

Xpeng has entered automotive markets in Poland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, with sales scheduled to begin in the second quarter.

Xpeng delivered a record 91,507 vehicles in the fourth quarter, exceeding the upper end of its guidance range of 87,000 to 91,000 vehicles.

Production of the 2025 G6 will be very limited in the first month because of the supply chain, and Xpeng is trying to address the issue, its CEO said.

In January-February, Xpeng delivered 60,803 vehicles, up 375.21 percent from 12,795 in the same period last year.

The updated G6 is a model developed for the global markets, available in left- and right-hand drive versions.
