Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) announced on May 1 that it delivered 35,045 vehicles in April, its second highest on record, but did not release breakdown figures for different models.

Xpeng's highest-delivered model in April was the Mona M03, with 14,210 vehicles delivered, down 14.36 percent from 16,593 in March, contributing 40.55 percent of total deliveries.

This is the first time this year that the Mona M03's contribution to Xpeng's monthly deliveries has fallen to near 40 percent, with the electric sedan contributing about 50 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries in each month from January through March.

The Mona M03 was launched on August 27, 2024, with a starting price of RMB 119,800 ($16,570), the lowest price for the Xpeng.

Xpeng is currently delivering the P7+, G6, G9, X9, P7 series, and the Mona M03.

The Mona M03, P7+, and P7 series are sedan models, the G6 and G9 are SUVs (sport utility vehicle), and the X9 is an MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).

The Xpeng G6 delivered 7,783 vehicles in April, up 265.06 percent year-on-year and up 87.59 percent from 4,149 in March.

The SUV contributed 22.21 percent of Xpeng's deliveries in April and was the company's second best-selling model.

Xpeng launched updated G6 and G9 SUVs on March 13 with upgraded features and lower prices.

The P7+ delivered with 7,392 vehicles in April, contributing 21.09 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries. Deliveries of the sedan were 13.49 percent lower than the 8,545 units delivered in March.

Xpeng launched the P7+ on November 7, 2024, at a starting price of RMB 186,800.

Xpeng G9 delivered 3,068 units in April, up 40.73 percent year-on-year and up 28.05 percent from March.

Xpeng X9 deliveries in April were 2,384 vehicles, up 21.69 percent year-on-year and up 81.43 percent from March.

On April 15, the company launched the 2025 X9 MPV and plans to launch the MPV in Europe later this year.

The Xpeng P7 series sold 208 vehicles in April, down 91.27 percent year-on-year but up 6.67 percent from March.

The P7 series includes the P7 and P7i, with only the P7i currently on display on Xpeng's website.
