The electric vehicle (EV) maker delivered 35,045 vehicles in April, the second highest on record behind December 2024's 36,695 units, according to data it released today.
This is the sixth consecutive month that Xpeng's monthly deliveries have been above the 30,000 mark, up 273.10 percent year-on-year and up 5.54 percent from March.
In the January-April period, Xpeng delivered 129,053 vehicles, up 313.45 percent year-on-year.
By the end of April, Xpeng's cumulative deliveries stood at 719,432 units.
The new sedans Mona M03 and P7+ were among the major contributors, although Xpeng did not mention specific figures.
The Mona M03 has cumulatively delivered over 100,000 units in eight months on the market and the P7+ has already seen its 50,000th unit roll off the production line after five months on the market, Xpeng said today, repeating what it posted earlier this month.
Xpeng officially launched the Mona M03 on August 27, 2024, with a starting price of RMB 119,800 ($16,480), half that of the Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) Model 3.
The company is expected to launch a Max variant for the Mona M03 later this month, with stronger smart driving capabilities.
Xpeng launched the P7+ on November 7, 2024, with a higher starting price of RMB 186,800.
The Mona M03 and P7+ delivered 16,593 and 8,545 units respectively in March, contributing 49.97 percent and 25.73 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Xpeng launched updated G6 and G9 SUVs (sport utility vehicles) on March 13 with upgraded features and lower prices.
On April 15, the company rolled out the 2025 X9 and plans to launch the MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) model in Europe later this year.
Xpeng will debut a new electric sedan as early as next week, further diversifying its sedan array, CnEVPost learned exclusively on April 29.
