Chinese electric car company Nio delivered a record 8,083 vehicles in June, up 116.1 percent from a year earlier.

CATL's battery installations from January to May reached 27.6 GWh, with a global market share of 31.2 percent, 9.8 percentage points higher than the 22 percent of the same period last year, the data shows.

The Han EV sales were 5,763 units and the Han DM sales were 2,451 units.

Companies with retail sales exceeding 10,000 units in May were SAIC-GM-Wuling with 33,175 units, BYD with 31,908 units, Tesla China with 21,936 units and GAC Aion with 10,395 units, the CPCA said.

Tesla China's retail sales in May reached 21,936 units, the CPCA said, adding that Tesla China exported 11,527 vehicles in May.
