Li Auto brought a lower-priced Air version to its product matrix for the first time, with the Li L7 Air and Li L8 Air powered by batteries from Svolt Energy and Sunwoda, respectively.

The new Air variants of the Li L7 and Li L8 are expected to eliminate the air suspension and electric suction doors, thus lowering the prices by more than RMB 20,000, local media said.

Deliveries of the Li L9 Max are expected to be delayed by one week and the Li L8 Pro by 2-3 weeks.

Since its launch, the Li L8 has received positive feedback and widespread recognition from consumers, and the number of orders continues to grow, Li Auto said.

The Li L8 has pretty much done what the Li L9 did at a slightly lower price point.

Deliveries of the Li L8 will begin in November, and the Li L7 will be officially unveiled in November and deliveries will begin in February 2023.

SUV competition in China's premium segment will intensify dramatically next year, with Nio, Xpeng and Li Auto all aggressively going after German luxury brands' market share, said Edison Yu's team.

Li Auto has moved up the release of the Li L8 by one month and said it will launch and deliver the Li L7 in the first quarter of 2023.

The Li L8 looks essentially the same as the Li L9, except for a lower position at the rear for the license plate.

The Li L8 will be built on the same platform as the Li L9 and can be seen as a scaled-down version of the Li L9, as previously reported by some local media.
