The Li L8 will take on the medium to large SUV market with four times the intensity of the Li ONE, according to Li Auto's CEO.

Since opening for test drives on July 15, more than 120,000 consumers have experienced the Li L9 in depth with their families, according to Li Auto.

Nio's chip R&D team has also poached many people from Huawei, Alibaba's Damo Academy, and Nvidia, and has a clear tape-out plan, according to local media.

Li Auto said it has upgraded its Changzhou plant, introducing more advanced production processes and more stringent testing procedures.

The project is expected to further drive suppliers closer to Li Auto, thereby reducing costs and improving supply chain reliability.

Li Auto's management could achieve its goal of transitioning from EREV to BEV, but the road ahead could get much rockier, said Edison Yu's team.

Li Auto CEO said the X03 will surpass the Rolls-Royce Cullinan in terms of rear space and comfort.
