For the full year 2021, GAC Aion sold 123,660 units, up 119 percent year-on-year, it said.

From January to November, the cumulative sales of GAC Aion exceeded 100,000 units, reaching 106,985 units.

The Aion LX Plus is equipped with 3 zoomable LiDARs and has a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds.

GAC's full range of battery swap-enabled models, based on the new GEP 3.0 platform, will enter the market starting in 2023.

The GAC Aion LX Plus is packed with a ternary lithium battery pack with a capacity of up to 144.4 kWh.
