GAC Aion will officially launch its A480 supercharger matched with graphene-based fast-charging batteries on August 30, cls.cn quoted people familiar with the matter as saying Friday.

GAC Aion has already launched models including the Aion Y, Aion LX and Aion V.

Individual users accounted for 77 percent of the number of license plate registrations for GAC Aion models from January to June this year, while corporate users accounted for 23 percent, the company said.

The Aion LX, a production vehicle equipped with this LiDAR, will be released soon, GAC Aion said, without revealing a specific date.
