Leapmotor has launched the updated C16 SUV, with a starting price of RMB 151,800 ($21,130), adding five-seat versions in addition to six-seat variants.

Leapmotor began pre-sales of the updated C16 earlier this month, with a starting price of RMB 169,800 ($23,640).

Leapmotor has added five-seat options to the C16 SUV, which previously only had six-seat versions.

The Maextro S800, jointly developed by Huawei and JAC, was launched on May 30 with a starting price of RMB 708,000 ($98,360).

The Maextro S800 joins the Nio ET9 and Yangwang U7 as the latest challenger to Mercedes-Maybach in China's luxury sedan market.

The Deepal S09 starts at a discounted price of RMB 204,900, half the price of the similarly sized Li Auto Li L9.

The Aito M8 was launched on April 16 with a starting price of RMB 359,800 ($49,880).

The Maextro S800 is expected to be priced between RMB 1 million ($138,650) and RMB 1.5 million, Huawei said previously.

The EZ-60 has set a record for being the fastest joint venture new energy SUV in China to surpass 20,000 pre-orders, Changan Mazda said.

Leapmotor will begin delivering the C10 on May 20 and plans to showcase it at the Hong Kong auto show in June.
