Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) has rolled out the updated C10, its latest affordable SUV (sport utility vehicle) offering, to target higher sales.
The company launched the 2026 C10 today, which continues to offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) options.
Leapmotor is offering three variants of the C10 BEV with starting prices of RMB 122,800 ($17,040), RMB 132,800 and RMB 142,800 respectively.
This is RMB 6,000, or 4.66 percent, lower than its predecessor's starting price of RMB 128,800.
The C10 EREV is available in two versions with starting prices of RMB 122,800 and RMB 132,800 respectively. This is RMB 13,000, or 9.27 percent, lower than its predecessor's starting price of RMB 135,800.
The five-seater SUV's length, width and height are 4,739 mm, 1,900 mm and 1,680 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm, the same as its predecessor.
The C10 BEV is available with two different power options, with electric motors of 170 kW and 220 kW, and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.29 seconds or 5.9 seconds.
It is powered by lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs with capacity options of 69.9 kWh, 74.9 kWh, and is capable of delivering CLTC ranges of 530 km and 605 km.
The C10 EREV has an engine with a displacement of 1.5 L as a range-extender. It is powered by a rear electric motor with a maximum power of 170 kW and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.68 seconds.
It comes standard with an LFP battery pack with a capacity of 28.4 kWh and offers a CLTC battery range of 210 kilometers. On a full tank of fuel and full charge, it has a CLTC range of 1,190 kilometers.
The updated C10 comes with LiDAR in both the highest priced variants of the BEV and EREV options, similar to what its predecessor did.

Leapmotor launched the C10 BEV in Europe in September 2024 and introduced the C10 EREV to Europe in January of this year as well.
The C10 is Leapmotor's main seller, delivering 9,756 units in April, contributing 24 percent of the company's 41,039 monthly deliveries, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
