To date, Zeekr has delivered more than 72,052 vehicles so far this year. It is aiming to double deliveries this year from last year to about 140,000 vehicles.

Most EV makers saw a dip in insurance registrations last week, as it was the beginning of the month, when deliveries are usually slow, while the week before included the last days of August, when deliveries are usually strong.

From January to August, China's NEV sales were 5.37 million units, up 39.51 percent year-on-year, accounting for 29.5 percent of all vehicle sales.

All three Li Auto models delivered more than 10,000 units in August, with the least expensive Li L7 continuing to contribute the most.

The G6 contributed 51.63 percent of Xpeng's deliveries in August, while the P7 contributed 30.98 percent.

The Model Y contributed 79.01 percent of Tesla's retail sales in China in August and 71.42 percent in January-August.

The ET5 Touring contributed 21.12 percent of Nio's deliveries in August with 4,083 units. The regular ET5 contributed 14.91 percent with 2,882 units.

Tesla's share of the Chinese BEV market was 13.18 percent in August, up from 7.46 percent in July.

Xpeng saw insurance registrations of 3,100 units last week, down 6.06 percent from 3,300 units in the previous week. BYD saw registrations of 50,800 units last week, down 1.74 percent from the previous week.

In January-August, China's passenger NEV wholesale sales are estimated at 5.08 million units, up 39 percent year-on-year, according to the CPCA.
