Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) delivered more than 10,000 units of all three of its models in August, with the least expensive Li L7 continuing to contribute the most.

The company's current models on sale include the five-seat Li L7, as well as the six-seat Li L8 and Li L9, all of which are extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs), essentially plug-in hybrids.

Retail sales of the Li L7 in August amounted to 12,752 units, contributing 36.52 percent of Li Auto's 34,914 deliveries in August, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shared by local automotive media Dongchedi.

The Li L7's sales in August were 4.76 percent lower than in July.

In the January-August period, retail sales of the Li L7 stood at 68,555 units.

The Li L7, Li Auto's least expensive model, went on sale on February 8 and was delivered on March 11.

The Li L7 is currently offered in three versions with starting prices of RMB 319,800 ($43,550), RMB 339,800 and RMB 379,800 respectively.

Retail sales of Li L8 in August were 11,227 units, a decrease of 0.78 percent from 11,315 in July, contributing 32.16 percent of Li Auto deliveries.

In the January-August period, retail sales of the Li L8 were 67,166 units.

Li Auto officially launched the Li L8 on September 30, 2022 and officially began deliveries of the model on November 10.

The Li L8 is offered in 3 variants with a starting price of RMB 339,800, RMB 359,800 and RMB 399,800 respectively.

Li Auto's flagship model, the Li L9, sold a record 10,933 units in August, up 16 percent from 9,425 in July, contributing 31.31 percent of Li Auto's deliveries in August.

Launched on June 21, 2022, the Li L9 is Li Auto's second model after the Li One. The Li One is currently discontinued.

Li L9 started delivery on August 30, 2022 and is currently available in 2 versions with starting prices of RMB 429,800 and RMB 459,800 respectively.

Li Auto delivered 34,914 vehicles in August, up 2.29 percent from July and up 663.82 percent year-on-year, according to data released by the company on September 1.

In August, monthly deliveries of the Li L7, Li L8 and Li L9 all exceeded 10,000 units, Li Auto said.
