Between August 1 and August 27, Nio vehicles saw 16,000 insurance registrations in China, Xpeng at 11,700, Li Auto at 29,100 and Tesla at 56,400 units.

Deliveries of the first Denza N8 vehicles have begun in 12 cities. Production of the Denza N7 has also been accelerated, with deliveries already exceeding 1,000 units this month.

Between August 1 and August 20, Tesla was at 39,400, Li Auto at 21,500, Nio at 11,000 and Xpeng at 8,400 units.

Between August 1 and August 13, Tesla vehicles had 25,400 insurance registrations in China, Nio 7,000, Li Auto 13,500, and Xpeng 5,200.

From January to July, China's NEV sales increased 41.7 percent year-on-year to 4,526,000 units, contributing 28.96 percent of all vehicle sales.

The Li L7 contributed 39.22 percent of Li Auto deliveries in July, while the Li L8 contributed 33.15 percent.

The ES6's contribution to Nio deliveries has continued to improve over the past three months, reaching 54.33 percent in July.

In the Chinese BEV market, Tesla's share was 7.46 percent in July, down from 16.53 percent in June, but up from 2.34 percent a year earlier.

Major EV makers saw insurance registrations in China generally decline last week, as the beginning of the month usually sees lower numbers, with Tesla being one of the few to grow.

In the January-July period, Tesla sold 540,824 China-made vehicles, up 67.45 percent year-on-year.
