Pre-order price for updated Li Mega is the same as its predecessor, but with an upgrade of the smart driving chip from the previous two Nvidia Orin-X chips to a single Thor-U chip.

Li Auto will update existing models in May, focusing on upgrades to smart driving hardware.

MindVLA will redefine autonomous driving in the same way that the iPhone 4 redefined smartphones, said Li Auto CEO.

Li Auto will launch two all-electric SUVs this year, including the Li i8 in July and another model, the Li i6, in the second half of the year.

Li Auto guided its vehicle deliveries in the first quarter to be in the range of 88,000 to 93,000 units, below analysts' expectations of 130,914 units.

Li Auto said the Li i8 has completed two winters and two summers of durability and performance verification in 300 cities across China.

The Li i8 is Li Auto's first all-electric SUV and second all-electric model after the Li Mega MPV.

Li Auto's deliveries in February were up 29.69 percent year-on-year, but down 12.24 percent from January.

Li Auto aims to have more than 15,000 superchargers by the time the Li i8 is launched.

Li Auto began offering final payment reductions and 3-year 0-interest financing on L-series models, allowing buyers to save up to RMB 38,000 ($5,210).
