Voyah announced Friday that it will enter overseas markets, but did not reveal which country it intends to enter first.

As the "CPU" in new energy vehicles, IGBT is regarded as the core technology peak of new energy vehicles due to its difficult technology and a large investment.

Its competitors include the Li ONE, Nio ES6, and Tesla Model Y.

Voyah has posted several positions with annual salaries exceeding RMB 600,000 ($92,881). By comparison, the average annual salary in Beijing in 2020 was RMB 77,560, official data showed.

Dongfeng Motor is the latest in a long line of traditional Chinese car companies to set up a separate company to run their electric vehicle business.
