The Onvo brand was officially launched on May 15, 2024, with its first model, the L60 mid-size five-seater electric SUV, hitting the market on September 19, 2024.

Last September, Onvo rolled out the previous update for the L60. The next revamped version of the model will begin pre-sales at the end of this month and officially launch in June.

Onvo's second model, the L90 large electric SUV, was launched on July 31, 2025. On April 21, the 2026 L90 was launched.

The Onvo L80, which began pre-sales on April 28, is the brand's third model and comes with a pre-sales price of 245,800 yuan ($36,170) including the battery pack.

If consumers opt to purchase the car based on the BaaS (battery as a service) battery rental service, the starting price of the L80 will drop to 159,800 yuan.

In terms of its smart driving technology roadmap, the L80 continues Onvo's dual-track strategy of offering flexible choices. It will simultaneously offer a high-end version equipped with LiDAR and Nio's in-house developed Shenji NX9031 chip, as well as a pure vision version.

Alongside the intensive roll-out of new products, Onvo is also accelerating the expansion of its power replenishment infrastructure. The brand plans to bring the total number of battery swap stations available to Onvo users to over 3,300 by the end of this year to enhance a better travel experience.

Onvo delivered 107,808 vehicles in the full year of 2025 — its first full year of deliveries, data compiled by CnEVPost showed.

In the January-April period of this year, the brand delivered 18,691 vehicles, down 2.55% year-on-year.
