Xpeng has made a new round of organizational changes led by new president Wang Fengying, involving teams including marketing, human resources, data, manufacturing and product planning, according to local media.

The Xpeng brand will have a total of 10 models based on the SEPA 2.0 platform, many of which will be launched in 2024-2025. The Mona project's A-class sedan is scheduled for launch in the second half of the year.

The X9 is the highest-priced in Xpeng's product lineup and is seen as helping Xpeng improve gross margins.

Xpeng Aeroht said its modular flying car will be mass-produced and delivered in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Pricing for the Xpeng X9 has been more aggressive than expected, and volume could go upside in the first half of 2024, said Deutsche Bank.

Xpeng's models are aimed mainly at the price range of RMB 200,000 to RMB 300,000, which is one of the most crowded segments at the moment.

As of today, XNGP's smart driving capabilities cover 90 percent of the cities where owners of Max version Xpeng vehicles are located.

The X9 starts at RMB 359,800, which is RMB 28,200 lower than the pre-sale price, and Xpeng said the MPV is a high-value family vehicle in the RMB 350,000 class.

Xpeng delivered a record 60,158 vehicles in the fourth quarter, falling within its previous guidance range of 59,500 to 63,500 vehicles.

Xpeng will officially launch the X9 on January 1, with a launch event starting at 6:30 pm Beijing Time.
