In the past nine months, the monthly deliveries of the Xiaomi SU7 beat the Model 3 in China four times.

Tesla China exported 76,380 Model Y units in 2024, a 54.58 percent decrease from 2023. The Model 3 exported 183,178 units, a 4.14 percent increase from 2023.

The prices of all three variants of the Model 3 have gone up by RMB 3,600 ($490) in China, with the range of the entry-level version increased by 28 km.

Tesla Model 3 wait time in China has been shortened from 2-4 weeks previously to 1-3 weeks, while the Model Y remains unchanged at 1-3 weeks.

Chinese customers who order the Model 3 now can expect to get deliveries in 2-4 weeks, shorter than the previous 4-6 weeks.

The latest wait times in China for all three variants of the Model 3 are 3-5 weeks, extended from the previous 2-4 weeks. The Model Y remains unchanged at 1-3 weeks.

Model 3 wait time went from 1-4 weeks to 2-4 weeks, Model Y remains unchanged at 1-3 weeks.

Today's changes reduce wait times for the Model 3 and Model Y in China to an all-time low. Silver paint is no longer exclusive to the Model Y.

Tesla has begun deliveries of the updated Model 3 Performance in China, ahead of the third quarter expected when the model was unveiled in the country two months ago.

The last time a Tesla model's delivery wait time in China was reduced to as low as 1 week was on December 26, 2022.
