Geely Auto's (HKEX: 0175) premium EV brand Zeekr officially launched the revamped Zeekr 009 on Tuesday, updating its flagship MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) model.
The model has a limited-time starting price of 413,800 yuan ($60,850) after entitlements, and deliveries will begin on May 20.
The updated Zeekr 009, which previously opened for pre-sales at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, is available in three trims: a seven-seat Ultra version, a seven-seat Ultra+ Family version, and a six-seat Ultra+ Executive version.
The model measures 5,217 millimeters in length, 2,024 mm in width, and 1,812 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,205 mm, aiming to meet the mobility needs of high-net-worth users.
The base seven-seat Ultra version uses an 800-volt high-voltage architecture, equipped with a 310 kW single motor and a 108-kilowatt-hour CATL (HKEX: 3750) Qilin Battery.
This version offers a CLTC combined range of 740 kilometers and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. It takes just 11.5 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%.
Its official guide starting price is 439,800 yuan, which comes down to 413,800 yuan after entitlements.
The higher-tier seven-seat Ultra+ and six-seat Ultra+ Executive versions are upgraded to a 900-volt high-voltage architecture and are equipped with a 680 kW dual-motor system.
These two higher-trim models feature a 115 kWh Qilin Battery, a range of 720 km, and a significantly shortened zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 3.9 seconds.
Both models can charge from 10% to 80% in 10 minutes.
Their official guide starting prices are 459,800 yuan and 469,800 yuan respectively, with post-entitlement starting prices at 433,800 yuan and 443,800 yuan.
In terms of the chassis system, the new models come standard with a closed dual-chamber air suspension and a smart magic carpet function.
The updated Zeekr 009 also comes standard with LiDAR and Nvidia's Drive Thor-U assisted driving chip, which boasts a computing power of 700 TOPS.
It is equipped with the Geely Afari Smart Driving (G-ASD) H7 assisted driving system, supporting advanced features such as full-speed active cruise control, automated parking assist, and forward collision warning.
For interior configurations, the seven-seat Ultra+ version features dual rotating seats in the second row, while the six-seat Executive version adds Sofaro first-class aviation seats.
Zeekr hopes to maintain its leading position in China's increasingly competitive premium EV market through the significant upgrade in technology and configurations.
The Zeekr 009 is Zeekr's second model, initially launched on November 1, 2022, with deliveries beginning on January 15, 2023.
The model is one of the highest-priced vehicles from a domestic brand and has undergone several updates over the past few years.
The Zeekr 009 delivered 22,299 vehicles for the full year of 2025, down 1.47% year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
In the first four months of this year, the Zeekr 009 delivered 4,686 vehicles, representing a year-on-year decline of 47.47 percent.
