China's overall passenger car retail sales in January totaled 1.794 million units, down 12.1 percent year-on-year and down 31.9 percent from December.

Tesla's January retail sales within China were 15.49 percent lower year-on-year and 59.36 percent lower than in December, partly due to the disruption of the Chinese New Year holiday.

CATL continued to remain the world's largest power battery maker in 2024, with a 37.9 percent share that is higher than the 36.6 percent in 2023.

Zeekr's deliveries in January were down 4.75 percent year-on-year and down 56.08 percent from December.

The Nio main brand delivered 7,951 vehicles in January, while the Onvo brand delivered 5,912 units.

Leapmotor aims to deliver 500,000 vehicles in 2025.
