The Power North plan is Nio's initiative to improve the electric vehicle experience for customers in northern China, announced at the Shanghai auto show in late April.

Tesla China announced Thursday that it will launch a station with solar power, energy storage and supercharging capabilities in Shanghai on July 17.

As Xpeng users continue to expand, the reduction in free charging credits is to ensure that the Xpeng Supercharger system provides better and sustainable replenishment services for customers.

Xpeng announced Monday that it will reduce the 3,000 kilowatt hours per year of free charging it offers to customers to 1,000 kilowatt hours per year, effective Aug. 1.

Xpeng's free charging credit for owners will be scaled back from 3,000 kilowatt hours per year to 1,000 kWh, a change expected to take effect July 12, less than a year after it was announced, ifeng.com reported Saturday.

Among them, 3C high rate fast charging can achieve 0 percent-80 percent charge time of 16 minutes and 30 percent-80 percent charge time of 10 minutes.

Nio's energy replenishment site including a second-generation battery swap station and 50 supercharging piles in Chongqing became fully operational on July 3.

As of July 1, Nio has completed a total of 11 battery swap stations, 15 supercharging stations and 17 destination charging stations in the eight regions, it said.
