BYD launched the Dolphin in Chile, the Han EV, Tang EV and Atto 3 in Morocco and the Atto 3 in Brunei.

BYD has submitted a $1 billion investment proposal to partner with a local company to produce EVs and batteries in India, according to Reuters.

If BYD sets up a power battery assembly plant in Hungary, it will give a boost to supplies to Tesla's Berlin factory, local media said.

BYD has brought the Dolphin to the Australian, Brazilian and Singaporean markets in the past 10 days.

BYD launched the Dolphin in Hong Kong in late May and brought the model to Australia and Brazil in late June.

BYD will invest $620 million in the facility, which will include an electric bus and truck chassis plant, a new energy passenger car plant, and a processing plant specializing in LFP battery materials.

The Dolphin is BYD's fifth model to be launched in Brazil, and the Atto 3 is its first model to be offered in South Africa.

The partnership will cover 10 countries and Jamaican dealer ATL will start accepting pre-orders immediately, with deliveries to begin in October.

BYD, together with local partner EV Direct, has launched the Dolphin in Australia with a starting price of A$38,890.

The Atto 3 is priced significantly lower than other EVs in the UAE, making it by far the most accessible electric model available in the UAE through official dealers.
