Aito said it is ramping up delivery capacity, which is expected to top 30,000 vehicles in a single month beginning in 2024, as it secures more than 120,000 firm orders for the new M7.

Aito plans to launch a new model, the M8, in 2024, when it will have at least four models on sale, according to local media.

Available in both EREV and BEV versions, the Aito M9 is expected to compete with Li Auto's Li L9 and Nio's ES8.

Aito's single-month delivery capacity in 2024 is expected to reach 30,000 vehicles, it said.

The production capacity target for the new Aito M7 has been raised to an average of 700 units per day, with a maximum annual capacity of 200,000 units, according to local media.

Huawei's head of automotive business Richard Yu said the M7 SUV has seen a comeback from the dead.

The Aito M9 is available in EREV and BEV versions, both with an expected starting price range of 500,000 to 600,000 Chinese yuan.
