Leapmotor delivers record 48,006 cars in Jun

Leapmotor (HKG: 9863) delivered 48,006 vehicles in June, marking the second consecutive month of record-breaking volume, according to data released today.

The monthly deliveries increased by 138.65 percent compared to the 20,116 units delivered in the same month last year, and by 6.52 percent compared to the 45,067 units delivered in May.

So far this year, Leapmotor has delivered 221,664 vehicles, up 155.68 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

As of the end of June, Leapmotor's cumulative deliveries since its inception totaled 821,212 vehicles.

Leapmotor aims to sell between 500,000 and 600,000 vehicles by 2025, according to its founder, chairman, and CEO Zhu Jiangming, who made the statement on March 11.

The company delivered 293,724 vehicles in 2024, representing a 103.76 percent increase compared to 2023.

Leapmotor currently offers the T03, B10, C01, C10, C11, and C16 models in China. Except for the T03 and B10, which are available only as battery electric vehicles (BEVs), all other models also offer extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.

The Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker, backed by Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), began pre-sales of its all-electric sedan B01 on June 29, with a starting price of RMB 105,800 ($14,770), making it the second model in its B series.

The B series targets a lower-priced market segment than the C series and aims for higher sales volumes.
