Leapmotor currently sells the T03, B10, C01, C10, C11, and C16 models in the Chinese mainland. All models except the T03 and B10 are available in both battery electric vehicle (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variants.

The T03 is Leapmotor's most affordable model, which received an update in the mainland in February. The starting prices for the two variants are now RMB 59,900 ($8,340) and RMB 69,900.

The C10 was first launched in March 2024 as Leapmotor's first global model. On May 15, the company rolled out the updated C10 SUV in the Chinese mainland, with a starting price of RMB 122,800.

In September last year, Leapmotor launched the T03 and C10 in 13 European countries, marking one of its major moves in overseas markets.

As of June 5, Leapmotor's footprint spans over 24 international markets across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region, with over 600 overseas sales and service outlets established.

Yesterday, Leapmotor announced its official entry into the Hong Kong market, with the opening of its first store there, marking its 1,500th global store.

The right-hand drive models developed by Leapmotor for the Hong Kong market are eligible for the Hong Kong government's first-registration tax exemption policy for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the company noted.

It said that its expansion in Hong Kong will help boost sales of its D-series products, as Hong Kong households rely on MPVs (multi-purpose vehicles) but face high usage costs for gasoline-powered vehicles, hinting that it will introduce electric MPV models in its future D-series lineup.

Leapmotor delivered 45,067 vehicles in May, representing a year-on-year increase of 148.10 percent and a month-on-month increase of 9.82 percent, according to data released on June 1.

It delivered 173,658 vehicles from January to May, up 160.83 percent year-on-year, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

From January to May, Leapmotor's overseas sales exceeded 17,200 units, ranking first among China's NEV startups, the company said on Weibo today.

As of the end of May, Leapmotor's cumulative deliveries since its inception totaled 773,206 vehicles.
