Arcfox, the electric vehicle (EV) arm of Beijing Automotive Group (BAIC Group), today slashed the prices of some of its models by as much as 23 percent to boost sales.
Arcfox reduced the official starting price of the Arcfox αT5 mid-size SUV (sport utility vehicle) to RMB 119,800 ($16,440) from RMB 155,800 yuan.
This means that the starting price of the Arcfox αT5 has been lowered by RMB 36,000, or 23.11 percent.
The biggest drop is in the entry-level variant, where the prices of the Arcfox αT5's pricier variants have been reduced by RMB 32,000 each, but the company is offering a RMB 8,000 voucher subsidy for these variants.
The entire range of the Arcfox αS5 electric sedan has had its price cut by RMB 32,000 and there is a RMB 8,000 voucher available.
Arcfox is also offering a limited time offer of RMB 10,000 for the Kaola S.
The Arcfox αT5 is available in 5 variants, with a current starting price range of RMB 119,800 to RMB 167,800.
The Arcfox αS5 is available in 4 versions with a starting price range of RMB 127,800 to RMB 184,800.
Arcfox Kaola S is available in 2 versions with starting prices of RMB 109,800 and RMB 119,800 respectively.
