Sequential decreases in deliveries of Nio Inc's (NYSE: NIO) main models dragged down its performance in November, the latest figures show.

The ES6, which has been the most important model for the Nio brand over the past few years, delivered 5,942 units in November, and remained the highest-delivering Nio model last month, contributing 28.88 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries, according to data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shared today by local automotive media Yiche.

This is the first time since March that monthly deliveries of the ES6 have been below 6,000, down 8.17 percent from October's 6,471, though up 4.87 percent from 5,666 a year ago.

In the January-November period, the ES6 delivered 68,027 units, up 37.16 percent year-on-year, contributing 35.65 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries in the same period, CnEVPost's calculations show.

Nio Inc delivered 20,575 vehicles in November, down 1.91 percent from 20,976 in October, although up 28.92 percent from 15,959 in the same month last year, according to figures it announced on December 1.

Nio's main brand currently has eight models on sale -- ES8, ES7, ES6, EC7, EC6, ET7, ET5, ET5 Touring -- of which the first five are SUVs and the last three are sedans.

The electric vehicle (EV) maker unveiled the ET9 in December last year and deliveries of the executive flagship sedan is set to begin in the first quarter of 2025.

The Nio main brand delivered 15,493 vehicles in November, down 2.92 percent from 15,959 a year ago and down 6.99 percent from 16,657 in October.

The Onvo sub-brand delivered 5,082 vehicles in November, up 17.67 percent from 4,319 in October.

Onvo's first model, the L60, was launched on September 19 and deliveries began on September 28. The model contributed 24.70 percent of Nio Inc deliveries in November.

The ET5 Touring (ET5T), with 4,142 vehicles delivered in November, was the Nio brand's second highest delivered model last month, contributing 20.13 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

From January through November, the ET5 Touring delivered 45,089 vehicles, contributing 23.63 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries for the same period.

The EC6 coupe SUV delivered 2,354 vehicles in November, contributing 11.44 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries.

From January to November, the EC6 delivered 24,239 vehicles, contributing 12.70 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries in the same period.

The regular ET5 sedan delivered 1,875 vehicles in November, contributing 9.11 percent of Nio Inc's monthly deliveries.

From January to November, the sedan delivered 24,224 vehicles, contributing 12.69 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries for the same period.

The ES8 SUV delivered 572 vehicles in November, contributing 2.78 percent of Nio Inc's deliveries in the same period.

From January to November, the Nio flagship SUV delivered 8,187 vehicles, contributing 4.29 percent.

The ET7 delivered 411 vehicles in November, contributing 2.00 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

From January through November, the ET7 delivered 6,406 vehicles, contributing 3.36 percent.

The EC7 coupe SUV delivered 187 vehicles in November, contributing 0.91 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.

From January through November, the EC7 delivered 2,570 vehicles, contributing 1.35 percent.

The ES7 SUV delivered 10 units in November, contributing 0.05 percent of Nio Inc deliveries.
