Starting at $108,970, the Zeekr 009 Grand is a model that Zeekr said will make today's CEOs anxiety-free and more productive.

Zeekr, the premium electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, has rolled out its new model, the Zeekr 009 Grand, an MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) designed to give business owners and CEOs a better ride.
The EV maker launched the Zeekr 009 Grand, a more luxurious four-seat variant of the regular Zeekr 009, at an event in Wuzhen, Zhejiang province, on April 19, offering only one trim at a starting price of RMB 789,000 ($108,970).
The regular Zeekr 009, a six-seater, was launched on November 1, 2022, in Wuzhen and deliveries began on January 15, 2023. The 2024 Zeekr 009 currently on sale is offered in two trims with a starting price of RMB 500,000 and RMB 588,000, respectively.
"The Zeekr 009 Grand will make today's CEOs anxiety-free and more productive," Zeekr CEO Andy An said at the model's launch event.
The Zeekr 009 Grand has no major exterior differences from the regular Zeekr 009, except for the addition of a LiDAR on the roof.
The model measures 5,217 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width and 1,812 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,205 mm.
The interior has been significantly redesigned compared to the regular Zeekr 009, with enhanced privacy protection and the use of higher-quality materials to make the model more luxurious.
The Zeekr 009 Grand is the first model in the industry to feature state-of-the-art light curtain glass, which appears solid black in the darkest state, according to Zeekr.
The glass has 10 levels of brightness adjustment, with the fastest dimming taking just 1.5 seconds.
The Zeekr 009 Grand has a complete partition between rows, creating a private suite for rear-seat passengers. It has a rear cabin camera that flips open automatically in conference mode.
The model also features a "Privacy Mode" that allows owners to erase information including navigation, Bluetooth, and hotspot connection history.
Rear seat comfort is one of the selling points of the Zeekr 009 Grand, which Zeekr said is upholstered in ultra-soft aniline leather from natural pastures with a flawless finish.
The Zeekr 009 Grand's seats are the only car seats in the world to offer 12 zones of support, each with 24-way adjustment, according to the company.
Zeekr has also used hand-polished marble from the Himalayas to embellish the cockpit on the Zeekr 009 Grand to provide a luxurious ambience.
A luxury MPV, the Zeekr 009 Grand is also a performance beast based on the 800 V high-voltage platform.
Its dual electric motors deliver 580 kW of peak power and 810 Nm of peak torque, enabling the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The Zeekr 009 Grand is powered by a Li-ion ternary battery pack with 108-kWh capacity and a CLTC range of 702 km.
The battery pack is Qilin Battery from CATL, which supports 5C fast charging and can get a driving range of over 500 kilometers on a 12-minute charge, according to the company.
The infotainment system on the Zeekr 009 Grand is powered by two Qualcomm 8295 chips that support the front and rear cabin.
Zeekr had planned to launch the Zeekr 009 Grand earlier than the regular Zeekr 009, but the model was instead launched later due to more preparatory work required, the company's management said in a media roundup after the launch.
Customers who order the Zeekr 009 Grand on or before May 31 will receive a discount of RMB 50,000 if they were previously the first owner of another Zeekr model.
Deliveries of the Zeekr 009 Grand will begin on May 19.
Zeekr delivered 118,685 vehicles in 2023, of which the Zeekr 009 contributed 19,527, or 16 percent, data compiled by CnEVPost show.
The MPV market has always been a niche market in China, with sales of MPVs, including gasoline-powered as well as electric MPVs, only one-tenth of those of sedans or SUVs.
The Zeekr 009 Grand, a more expensive luxury model, is obviously unlikely to contribute significant sales, but is expected to help Zeekr build a more premium brand image.
Zeekr is aiming to double its sales to about 230,000 units in 2024, it said earlier this year.
In the media communication following today's launch, Zeekr said the company remains confident of achieving that goal and plans to launch an SUV (sport utility vehicle) model in the fourth quarter.
In the first quarter, Zeekr delivered 33,059 vehicles, an increase of 117 percent from the previous year.
