Zeekr aims to deliver 230,000 vehicles in 2024, doubling from 2023, a company spokesperson told CnEVPost.

The deliveries will be across China, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and other markets, the spokesperson said.

Zeekr's growth is set to accelerate with the next 200,000 vehicle deliveries to be completed within 12 months, the company's vice president, Lin Jinwen, said earlier today, according to local media outlet Cailian.

Zeekr announced the delivery of its 200,000th production vehicle earlier today, 26 months after the delivery of its first production vehicle.

Zeekr's deliveries in 2023 were slightly below the company's target of roughly 140,000 vehicles, albeit up 64.98 percent from the 71,941 vehicles delivered in 2022.

Zeekr was officially formed as a separate company in March 2021, with its first model, the Zeekr 001, launched on April 15, 2021, and deliveries beginning in October 2021.

Zeekr's other models currently on sale include the Zeekr 009 MPV, the compact SUV Zeekr X, and the Zeekr 007 sedan, with the Zeekr 007, which went on sale on December 27, being its first to target the mainstream EV market.

Zeekr's 200,000th vehicle delivered today was a Zeekr 007. The milestone means that it has delivered 3,367 vehicles so far this month, considering its cumulative deliveries up to the end of 2023 were 196,633 units.

Zeekr delivered a record 13,476 vehicles in December. If it is to reach 230,000 deliveries in 2024, it will need to deliver an average of 19,167 cars per month.

On January 1, Li Xiang, founder, chairman and CEO of , hinted in a Weibo post that the company will challenge annual deliveries of 800,000 units as well as monthly deliveries of 100,000 units in 2024.

Li Auto delivered a record 50,353 vehicles in December and 376,030 vehicles for the full year 2023.

Li Auto's three models currently on sale are the Li L7, Li L8, and Li L9, all of which are extended-range electric vehicles (EREVs), essentially plug-in hybrids, targeting a larger market than battery-electric vehicles (BEVs).

Zeekr, along with (NYSE: NIO) and (NYSE: XPEV), currently sell models that are all BEVs.
