Notably, NIO has been announcing quarterly earnings after the US stock market closed in the early morning Beijing time, and this will be the first time it will report earnings before the bell.
Its local peers XPeng Motors (NYSE: XPEV, HKG: 9868) and Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI, HKG: 2015) have always reported results before the US stock market opens.
NIO delivered 25,768 vehicles in the first quarter, within the previously given guidance range of 25,000-26,000 vehicles, previously announced data showed. The deliveries represent a 28.45 percent year-on-year increase and a 2.93 percent increase from the fourth quarter of last year.
The company's revenue guidance of RMB 9.63 billion - 9.99 billion for the first quarter when it announced its quarterly report in late March, representing a year-on-year increase of 20.6 percent to 25.1 percent.
