Nio users drove more than 4.7 million kilometers with the Pilot during the May Day holiday, May 1-5, a 278% increase over the same period last year, the electric car company said in a report Friday.

During this period, users used Nio Pilot for a total of 62,417 hours, up 269 percent from the same period last year.

One user used Nio Pilot for 98.5 percent of the 797- kilometer trip, the highest percentage of any user using the feature.

During the May Day holiday, Nio users drove a total of 34.55 million kilometers, with a total of 1.07 million driving hours and a cumulative reduction in carbon emissions of 2,271 tons.

Nio's intelligent voice assistant NOMI was woken up 3.88 million times cumulatively during this period, of which playing music was the most used function by users, reaching 604,488 times.

In 2017, Nio released the ES8, its first flagship SUV, and with the launch of the ES8, its in-car voice assistant NOMI became the world's first mass-produced in-car artificial intelligence system.

The cumulative number of charges made by Nio users during this period was 45,835, up 177.3% year-on-year. Users used the battery swap service 46,532 times, an increase of 245.4% year-on-year.

The One Click for Power service was used 7,671 times, an increase of 105.9% year-on-year.
