Chinese electric vehicle (EV) maker (NASDAQ: LI) announced on December 25 that its only model, the Li ONE, will soon receive an OTA 2.0 update to its car system, bringing several new features.

The update allows an additional 14 phones to be used as car keys, they are:

Mate 40 Pro, Huawei Mate 40 Pro+, Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro+, Huawei Mate 30 RS, Huawei Mate 20 X, Huawei Mate Xs, 10, Xiaomi 10 Supreme Anniversary Edition, OPPO Reno5, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max.

It's worth noting that the OPPO Reno5 series of phones was only released this month. On December 11, OPPO announced the Reno5 series of smartphones, including the Reno5 and Reno5 Pro models. They are equipped with OPPO 65W Super Flash technology and will be priced from RMB 2,699 ($412).

OPPO said it worked with Li ONE to create a seamless experience of "smart car connectivity", bringing the intelligence of cell phones and cars together in a truly seamless way.

The Li ONE's OTA 2.0 update also features a new Bilibili app for the entertainment screen, and Gode Map, Himalaya FM, and iQiyi are all receiving upgrades.

Starting December 26, Li Auto will push out the V2.0 version of the software to owners in the order they pick up their cars.
