Insurance registrations for major EV makers in China have dropped significantly over the past two weeks as people celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year holiday.

Wang has restructured Xpeng's overseas business team, adding the Middle East as a key market and will invest more resources, according to local media.

The F57's smart driving system will remove LiDAR in favor of a pure vision solution and use 3D millimeter-wave radars, according to local media.

Most of the major EV makers saw insurance registrations fall last week, as the beginning of the month is usually a low point for deliveries.

The latest discount lowers the starting price of the Xpeng G6 to RMB 189,900.

The offer lowers the G9's starting price to RMB 253,900 in February.

The decline was mainly due to seasonal factors. The X9 MPV, which went on sale on January 1, delivered 2,478 units in January.
