Wait Times

The wait times for all versions of the Model 3 and Model Y have become longer, starting at 4 weeks, except for the entry-level Model Y, which still has an expected delivery date starting at 1 week.

Local media earlier today cited several Tesla salespeople as saying that a small number of existing Model 3 and Model Y vehicles are currently available for sale.

Consumers ordering the ET5 now have to wait about 5-6 months, for the ES7 it's 13-15 weeks and for the ET7 it's 11-13 weeks.

With the exception of the entry-level Model Y, which has a wait time of 1-4 weeks, Tesla has further reduced the expected delivery dates for all of its models in China by 6 weeks.

It's rare for Tesla to shorten the expected delivery dates for all models at once. The popular Model Y entry-level version now has a wait time of about 2 months.

The expected delivery date for the entry-level Model Y was also shortened by two weeks just two days ago.

Expected delivery dates for the rear-wheel drive Model Y in China have been shortened by two weeks, while both the Model 3 Performance and Model Y Performance have been extended by four weeks.

Expected delivery dates for both versions of the Tesla Model 3 in China have been reduced by four weeks, while the Model Y Long Range has been extended by four weeks.

Chinese consumers who order the entry-level Model 3 now won't get deliveries until at least the end of October.
