As of the end of February, Nio had 587 battery swap stations and more than 27,000 charging piles participating in grid load regulation in 14 provinces and cities.

This includes more than 450 Tesla Supercharger stations and more than 350 destination charging stations.

Between March 16 and April 15, Li Mega owners who use Li Auto's supercharging stations to charge their vehicles will be rewarded with credits equal to the amount they pay per charge.

From March 2023 to February 2024, the average monthly number of newly added public charging piles were about 80,000 units.

Li Auto raised target number of supercharging stations from 2,000 to 2,700 by the end of this year and offers a five-year, worry-free car ownership benefit for the Li Mega to increase the model's appeal.

Over the next few years, Li Auto will invest more than RMB 6 billion in building supercharging stations, it said.

Li Auto said it aims to reach 2,000 supercharging stations by the end of 2024.

The service barely affects battery swap stations' ability to provide service to car owners, with one station bringing in revenue in the tens of thousands of euros a year, according to a Nio vice president.

Nio's battery swap stations provided a total of 871,477 services from February 8-18, with a peak of 90,199 services in a single day.

By the end of 2023, there were 2.73 million public charging piles in China, according to an industry association.
