  • Leapmotor delivers 18,165 cars in May, highest this year

    Leapmotor's two SUV models, the C11 and C10, delivered a total of 11,992 vehicles in May, or 66 percent of total deliveries.

  • Zeekr delivers record 18,616 cars in May

    Zeekr delivered a record number of vehicles in May for the second consecutive month, surpassing April's 16,089 vehicles.

  • Nio delivers record 20,544 cars in May

    In the January-May period, Nio delivered 66,217 vehicles, up 50.99 percent year-on-year, with SUVs contributing 58.58 percent.

    The X9 MPV delivered 1,625 vehicles in May, contributing 16 percent of Xpeng's monthly deliveries.

    The only other time Nio has previously seen single-month deliveries exceed 20,000 was in July 2023 with 20,462 units.

    During the May 1-26 period, insurance registrations for Nio vehicles were 15,400, Tesla 43,900, BYD 209,900 and Xiaomi 6,700.

  • CPCA expects China's May NEV retail at 770,000, penetration at record 46.6%

    China's overall passenger vehicle retail sales in May is expected to be around 1.65 million units, down 5.3 percent year-on-year, the CPCA said.
