BYD Yuan Plus

The third-generation Yuan Plus starts at 119,900 yuan ($17,630) in China, slightly higher than its predecessor.

The Yuan Plus, known as the Atto 3 in overseas markets, is a key global model for BYD.

The third-generation Yuan Plus will feature BYD's latest flash-charging technology. The model is known as the Atto 3 in overseas markets.

The Yuan Plus was initially launched in February 2022 and currently has a starting price range of RMB 115,800 ($16,110) to RMB 145,800 in China.

BYD will start delivering the Atto 3 in South Korea in February and plans to launch the Seal electric sedan and Sealion 7 electric SUV in the country in the second half of this year.

BYD is recalling 96,714 Dolphin and Yuan Plus vehicles in China starting September 30, for fire risk due to manufacturing process.

The updated Yuan Plus has a starting price of RMB 119,800, or about $16,650. The model is available in several overseas markets under the Atto 3 name.

Delivery of 100 Yuan Plus units was made by BYD and three Mexican dealers.

BYD has entered into a strategic partnership with Ecuadorian car dealership group Andor, which will establish six dealer stores in the next six months and plans to expand to 12 in 2024.

The first 500 units of the BYD Atto 3 are expected to be delivered to Indian consumers starting in January 2023, with the company aiming to sell 15,000 units of the model locally by 2023.
