Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) announced on Tuesday that it will report its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2026 before the US market opens on May 28.
The company's management will hold an earnings conference call at 8:00 am US Eastern Time on the same day to discuss business updates with investors and analysts.
In the first quarter of this year, Li Auto delivered a total of 95,142 vehicles, exceeding the upper end of the company's previous quarterly delivery guidance of 85,000 to 90,000 units.
Li Auto previously guided that its first-quarter revenue would be between 20.4 billion yuan ($3 billion) and 21.6 billion yuan.
The company's revenue in the fourth quarter was 28.8 billion yuan, representing a sharp decrease of 35.0% compared to the same period in 2024.
Li Auto barely returned to profitability in the fourth quarter of last year, with a net income of only 20.2 million yuan, but it still recorded an operating loss of 442.6 million yuan.
To reverse the sales downturn, Li Auto is accelerating the pace of new model launches.
The all-new flagship SUV Li L9 Livis will be officially launched on May 15, with deliveries starting on the same day.
The model is equipped with two in-house developed M100 smart driving chips by Li Auto, and its pre-sales price is 559,800 yuan.
In addition, Li Auto plans to launch the all-new flagship pure electric SUV model Li i9 in the second half of this year, the company's management said during the last earnings call.
Li Auto's current product lineup includes the L-series extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) models, the i-series pure electric SUV models, and the Li Mega MPV (multi-purpose vehicle).
The company has set a target of 20% year-on-year sales growth for 2026, meaning it aims to deliver about 490,000 vehicles in 2026.
Li Auto's domestic peer, Nio Inc (NYSE: NIO), will release its first-quarter financial results before the US market opens on May 21. Xpeng (NYSE: XPEV) has not yet announced the date for its earnings release.
